wearable
This project is a full wraparound ear cuff designed in Shapr3D, modeled by sketching a 3D path that follows the contour of the ear and sweeping (or lofting) a closed cross-section profile along it to form a smooth, tapered band. The edges were filleted for comfort, any decorative details were added with Boolean operations, and all bodies were united into a single watertight solid. The model was then exported as an STL/3MF file, checked for mesh errors in a slicer, and prepared for 3D printing.
In order to get the shape of the cloud and lightening bolt, I sketched out the design 2D before starting the 3D process.
This is a mock up of what the ear cuff would look like on a model. The design was centered around creating the cloud and lightening bold as the visible parts of the ear cuff from the front/side.

trace out design
Using Shapr, create the ear cuff by extending shapes and carving out areas where the ear will be sitting. It was important to account the thickness of the ear in order to correctly fit onto the ear without moving around.
